.
Payment: Payment for pet sitting services is due at the time of booking. Payment for dog walking, transportation, after storm checks and mid-day potty breaks is due within 7-days of the invoice date. We accept cash, checks or credit cards. Checks should be made payable to “Dog Gone Spoiled, LLC”.

.
Early Returns/Last Minute Changes: We ask that you call the office as soon as there are any changes in your travel departure or return times for previously scheduled services. Failure to do so will result in a continuation of services and you will be charged accordingly. If you need service beyond the contracted period, we request that you advise us as soon as possible to accommodate our coordination of visits and additional visits will be charged the normal rate.
.
Scheduling and Visit Times: Dog Gone Spoiled provides a time interval during which visits will occur. With the exception of the requirement to administer time-sensitive medications, we cannot commit to be at your home at an exact time each day. Unforeseen situations may arise (i.e. traffic or weather conditions, unpredictability of circumstances at prior scheduled visits that day, etc.). We will make every effort to be at your home at the requested time.
.
Pet Illness or Injury: Should a situation arise in which your pet suffers illness or injury, every effort will be made to contact you immediately. If the condition is deemed to require veterinary attention, your pet will be transported to a veterinary facility. Once your pet is under the care of a veterinarian, Dog Gone Spoiled, LLC or its representative will make NO decisions regarding further treatment options.
.
Inclement Weather: Every effort will be made to drive to your home and carry out your instructions; however, the service schedule may be interrupted or altered due to circumstances. If it is not possible to drive safely to your home, your emergency contact will be notified. We will notify you that the above mentioned contingency plan has been activated.
.
Inclement Weather Contact: This person should live within walking distance to your home and will be called upon to check on your pet(s) if Dog Gone Spoiled is unable to drive to your home. This person should have a key to access your home since garage door openers are inoperable during power shortages. In the event that you do not provide a nearby emergency contact with access to your home, Dog Gone Spoiled will provide service but not until conditions allow us to reach your home safely.
.
Alternate Pet Sitter: In the event of personal emergency or illness of your pet sitter, Dog Gone Spoiled will arrange for an alternate pet care professional to care for your pet(s) and home. We will notify you if this situation arises.
.
Food/Medication: Dog Gone Spoiled will follow your instructions with regard to feeding/medicating pet(s). Please ensure that your pet(s) have enough food/medication to last for the duration of their care. Should your pet(s) run out of food/medication, Dog Gone Spoiled will purchase these items and an errand fee plus the cost of items will be added to the invoice.
.
Administering Medications: Dog Gone Spoiled will attempt to administer medications as directed but cannot be held responsible for complications that may arise as a result. There is no additional charge to administer medications.
.
Pet Supplies: If necessary, Dog Gone Spoiled will purchase items that contribute to the health and well being of your pet(s) during your absence (i.e. kitty litter, cleaning supplies, etc.). The pet owner is responsible for reimbursement of these items and an errand fee will be added to the invoice.
.
Vaccinations: Dog Gone Spoiled requires that all pets have current vaccinations and we may ask for expiration dates for rabies vaccinations. Dog Gone Spoiled will under NO circumstances provide pet sitting services for any pet that has any form of contagious illness. If a Dog Gone Spoiled representative is bitten or exposed to any disease or ailment received from the clients pet(s), the client will be responsible for all costs and damages that may be incurred as a result.
.

.
Crime Deterrent Activities: Dog Gone Spoiled will collect mail and newspapers, turn on/off radio or TV and adjust blinds and lights to give the home a lived-in appearance. There is no additional charge for this service while under contract for daily visits.
.
Neighborhood Watch: Dog Gone Spoiled asks clients to notify trustworthy neighbors, relatives, etc. that a pet sitter will be under contract to perform services. This will help avoid any misunderstandings.

Key Security: Dog Gone Spoiled maintains strict control of your house key and security alarm code. No personal information is annotated on your key tag.
.
Key Return: It is our policy to keep your key(s) for future services or until either party cancels the contract verbally or in writing. If you would like to have your key(s) returned, we can leave your key(s) with a trusted neighbor or in a safe hiding place outside the home. This is necessary in order to continue to provide care for your pet(s) in the event that you experience a delay returning home.

Alternatively, you can choose to leave the system disarmed while you are away.
.
Updates: Please keep the office updated with any changes to information gathered during the registration interview. Of particular importance is the information concerning your contact numbers, security system changes and pet health care (medication or veterinarian changes).
.
Privacy Policy: All of your information will be kept private and strictly confidential. Dog Gone Spoiled respects our clients entrusting us with the care of their home and pet(s). Your personal information will NEVER be used for any purpose other than the direct providing of services to you. From time to time, Dog Gone Spoiled may take photos of your pets and our service agreement will ask for your agreement to use such photos in our printed and web-based materials.
